Borussia Dortmund announced yesterday its Q3 FY18/19 figures. In the first nine months of FY18/19, sales decreased 10.1% year-on-year to €409.2m. However, adjusted for transfer revenues, they increased by 20.7% to €297.3m.
EBITDA was down year-on-year from €128.5 to €105.2m and net income stood at €41.1m, down from €59.7m in the previous year.
In the third quarter of FY18/19, the company was able to increase its sales adjusted for transfer revenues by 18.2% year-on-year to €83.7m. Borussia Dortmund states that the growth was attributable to higher income from TV marketing compared with the last year. Preliminary EBITDA in Q3 FY18/19 was up at €51.1m (Q3 FY18/19: €44.6m) and net income improved to €27.2m (€21.6m).
